Summative Assessment will be undertaken via an oral presentation and written report. The presentation is an opportunity for you to demonstrate a new business plan and be confidence in explaining technical concepts to a non-specialist audience. The written report enables you to demonstrate your ability to apply principles of entrepreneurship in an engineering context. Aspects of this include how an enterprise culture can be created, and developed and managed to bring about commercial and technical success. The report covers commercial aspects such as; financial planning, ROI, forecasting, current practice appreciation of likely new developments affecting business. including IPR, contracts, environment and European/world trade issues. You will also explore your own career enhancement to add to your CPD
